Author and Founder of Yoga of Dental Hygiene
Trauma-informed yoga teacher, author, artist, and holistic dental hygienist
With one foot in the operatory and one on the mat, Bhakti bridges science and spirit to help dental professionals reconnect with their bodies, breath, and purpose. Her work is rooted in nearly two decades of clinical experience, hundreds of hours of yoga training, and deep personal exploration of what it means to offer healing without self-abandonment.
Bhakti began asking hard questions after years of burnout, chronic pain, and emotional exhaustion inside a career she once felt called to. Yoga didn’t fix her—but it gave her a way home. A way to reinhabit her body. A way to breathe through discomfort. A way to care without collapsing. What began as a personal practice soon revealed itself as a professional calling.
From that foundation, Yoga of Dental Hygiene emerged—not just as a method, but as a movement. A way for clinicians to remember their wholeness while practicing with integrity, vitality, and devotion.
Bhakti’s teachings blend yogic philosophy, chakra wisdom, somatic tools, and modern science to offer a grounded, accessible path to longevity in dentistry. Her work has touched students, educators, and practitioners across the country through practice management seminars, workshops, and immersive retreats.
She believes your body is not a barrier—it’s your greatest ally in creating sustainable, soul-aligned service.
When she’s not teaching or in the operatory, Bhakti can usually be found hiking, making malas and jewelry, writing by the water, or studying the sacred in all its forms.
